The Differences Between Serialized and Episodic

There are two types of podcasts when it comes to how they are labeled. Those two types are serialized and episodic. 

Serialized podcasts are usually structured as a story, and you have to listen to previous episodes to understand what is happening.

Episodic podcasts are usually informational, or news. In episodic episodes, you may listen in any order you desire, and each subject is introduced in the episode.

How to Choose an Idea for your Podcast

Choosing an idea for your podcast may seem hard, but trust me, it is super easy! The first thing you would want to do is think of things/subjects you like and understand. Once you come up with that, you want to make sure you know enough to teach to others. Once you have your idea, you are ready to make a podcast!
